We are writing to inform you that CDC has made an edit to the Dec. 4, 2020 COVID-19 Guidance for Dental Settings.
All people (vaccinated or unvaccinated) need to wear a mask when they are inside a healthcare facility, including dental offices.
Effective for dates of service May 21, 2021 and forward, CMAP enrolled providers MUST obtain Prior Authorization for Dental (Endodontic) Services. Providers should start the process to secure PA for Endodontic Dental Services for dates of service May 21, 2021 and forward.
Exparel which is a long – acting anesthetic (bupivacaine liposome injectable suspension) that is used instead of opioids for a variety of surgeries and for oral surgery. FDA just announced approval of using Exparel for in Pediatric Patients – children age 6 and up.
