In 2023, the Connecticut Dental Health Partnership (CTDHP) published its third Medicaid Oral Health Equity Report, focusing on oral health disparities within the state’s Medicaid population during 2020-2021, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. This report, based on population-level dental utilization analysis, member feedback from the 2023 HUSKY Health Dental Plan Benefit Member Survey, and 2023 HUSKY Health dental provider data, identified five key disparities.
